Plant City Community Center

Square Feet

The Plant City Community Center is a 32,000 sq. ft. structure on a five acre, turnkey site. This new construction project included a complete site package, with fire, and a masonry building.

The multi-purpose building features a gymnasium with two full-sized basketball courts, meeting rooms, a craft room, an activity room with a computer lab, and a kitchen facility. The Community Center is geared toward special interest classes and after school youth programs.

The construction of the Plant City Community Center, now known as the Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Center, began in May of 2019. The dedication and public opening were held in August of 2020.

This new building replaced the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center, built at the same location in 1960.
